“As advances in psychiatry continue to enhance our understanding of health and well-being, it is the intricacies in human relationships that continues to inspire my work in this field. Developing a therapeutic relationship allows a neutral space, where a sense of safety can be cultivated to enable healing and change. The focus of recovery considers the whole person, in their relationships, in their world. It is an honour to share in the journeys of my patients, as they work with courage and bravery in their quest to pursue recovery.”
