About advanced treatments

Innovative, evidence-based treatments supporting deeper mental health recovery

At Avive Health, we recognise that for some people, traditional treatments like medication and psychotherapy may not provide complete relief. Neurostimulation and advanced therapies are designed for people who have not experienced sufficient improvement with standard therapies.

Our neurostimulation and assisted therapies integrate newer approaches – transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), medically supervised assisted therapy for depression, and Empax Centre’s program for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD – into a comprehensive model of psychiatric and psychological care, to help people reconnect with themselves, build emotional flexibility and support their recovery.

Our approach

Avive’s assisted therapies are delivered within a clinician-led, trauma-informed environment, under specialist psychiatric oversight.

Each treatment plan is individually tailored – combining assisted therapy sessions with integrated psychological support, medical oversight, structured treatment pathways and ongoing aftercare to support stabilisation and recovery.

Treatments available

Three advanced treatments

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)

A non-invasive therapy that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate targeted areas of the brain involved in mood regulation.

Robotic-assisted TMS uses guided positioning and digital calibration to deliver each pulse precisely and consistently, for more comfortable treatment. Treatments are delivered under the supervision of Avive psychiatrists and trained technicians.

Commenced during an inpatient stay, with outpatient follow-up care.

A medically supervised treatment option for people with severe or treatment-resistant depression, combined with psychological support.
