Program options
The 3-week inpatient program provides a structured environment to explore contributing factors related to substance use and mental health. Participants engage in individual and group-based therapy to develop skills in emotional regulation and behavioural change.

Bio-psychosocial and neurobiological models of addiction
Motivation and stages of change
Relationship patterns and communication
The 12-week transition day program is designed to support individuals reintegrating into everyday life following inpatient treatment. It offers practical strategies to help manage common challenges associated with substance reduction and supports ongoing adjustment in a therapeutic community setting.
Getting started
If you are new to Avive, please speak with your GP or psychiatrist to arrange a referral. Our team can also assist with any required assessments.
For patients currently receiving inpatient care at Avive, your treating psychiatrist will discuss options for transition into the day program.
CostsAvive is a licensed private hospital provider and holds contracts with most health funds. Our team can check your individual health cover and provide a detailed outline of any applicable gap fees or out-of-pocket costs.
